MTR Community Recruitment in Tin Shui Wai 2011
MTR Community Recruitment was successfully held in Tin Shui Wai Station on 24-25 September. In addition to external recruitment through the normal channels, MTR invited HKCSS Agency Members to participate in the recruitment as partners assisting to refer the people living in Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, Tin Shui Wai and nearby areas to attend the job fair so to expose themselves to more job opportunities. HKCSS, being the Programme Partner of the Community Recruitment, assisted in recruiting NGOs for the programme.
MTR Corporation, one of the Caring Companies, has been caring for the people in need in society. In view that people living in the New Territories may wish to look for jobs within their own district or in nearby districts, MTR organised this Recruitment activity, aiming at recruiting frontline operations, maintenance and administrative positions, including part-time Station Assistants.
Positive response was received from the Recruitment. Over 600 applications were received and 430 on-site interviews were conducted. Among those interviewed candidates, around 21% of them were referred by the NGOs accordingly.

- Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions
- Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association Tin Shui Wai Integrated Social Service Centre
- Po Leung Kuk
- Yan Oi Tong Jockey Club Training Centre
