Project information :
Project 1 – Continued Education Project organized by Hong Kong Society for the Aged (SAGE) / Chinese word processing course offered by SAGE College This is a non-subvented elderly continued education project, jointly organized by SAGE and Lingnan University. It helps the elders to achieve a fruitful and healthy life with sense of worthiness. Besides, SAGE College also introduces to elders new Chinese word processing software and provides free courses to them.
Project 2 – Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Veterans Club The Veterans Club is the first of its kind in Hong Kong, set up by an organization for their retired staff. It acts as the communication network between Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company and the retired staff, and encourages the members to participate in social service so as to develop their potentials. It also promotes the concept to other business organizations, to enhance the quality of retirement life.
Through this community visit, companies could understand more about the new initiatives of serving elderly people, which may develop their potentials and to remain close ties to the community.
