Market Information
To encourage and support PWD to enter the job market, the Chief Executive in the "2024 Policy Address" announced the policy initiative of introducing the "Caring Employer" medal commending employers who actively engage the PWD. To act on the initiative, the Labour and Welfare Bureau has launched the Diverse Abilities · Inclusive Workplace Recognition Scheme on the basis of the existing Talent-Wise Employment Charter, and collaborated with the Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to take forward the "Caring Employer" medal. As one of the Strategic Collaborators, HKCSS invites all caring employers to apply!
Inclusive employment for people with disabilities cannot be achieved by a small group of individuals or a few employers alone! Whether you are an employer or an employee; from the business, education, social welfare sector, or public bodies, your awareness and actions are vital.
The "Caring Employer" Medal is now open for applications. We warmly invite organisations across industries and sectors to apply. We encourage organisations to sign up for the free capacity building programme, equipping yourselves with essential knowledge and skills, connecting with like-minded, and exploring different solutions for implementing inclusivity. Together, we can create new opportunities and expand talent management strategies under the ESG framework.
The application deadline is 4 July 2025 (Fri) 6 PM. Please CLICK Here to create an organization account on the online application platform, review the action checklist, and submit required supporting documents to complete your application! Action NOW!
Should you have any inquiries about the “Caring Employer” Medal, kindly reach out to the Secretariat (Tel: 3752 9831 | Email: info@caringemployer.com).
